The Hill Country RC&D Council is a 501(c) 3, non-profit, tax exempt organization, eligible to secure grant funds from private and public sources, as well as individual donations.
The Hill Country RC&D Area, Inc. is comprised of Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie, Kimble, Lampasas, Llano, Mason and San Saba counties. The Hill Country RC&D Area office is located in Mason, Texas.
The Council was organized in 1993 and received its 501(c)3 IRS determination in the same year. The Hill Country RC&D Area was authorized in January 2002 by USDA Secretary Ann M. Veneman. The Council is comprised of one representative from each of the eight counties.
