The Hill Country RC&D Council is a 501(c) 3, non-profit, tax exempt organization, eligible to secure grant funds from private and public sources, as well as individual donations.
The Hill Country RC&D Area, Inc. is comprised of Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie, Kimble, Lampasas, Llano, Mason and San Saba counties. The Hill Country RC&D Area office is located in Mason, Texas.
The Council was organized in 1993 and received its 501(c)3 IRS determination in the same year. The Hill Country RC&D Area was authorized in January 2002 by USDA Secretary Ann M. Veneman. The Council is comprised of one representative from each of the eight counties.
To assist local volunteers in planning, funding and implementing natural resource and community-based activities.
Volunteers working at the local level, committed to improving the economy, environment and living standards of the Hill Country RC&D Area.
